Amy is just an unstoppable force at this point. Amazing what she’s done.
The skyrocketing DJ and producer Amy Wiles has just released her most personal project to date, the five-track ‘I Never Want This To End’ EP, on the big Anjunabeats. Released on 7th November, the EP is an intimate yet expansive collection that captures the essence of her journey, reflecting her relentless drive and deep love for electronic music.
They say education begins at home. Well, Wiles’s musical journey began precisely there, with a “dance music and trance head” mother, who first introduced her to the genre, and a father and brother with strong connections to Indie and Rock. And having initially joined Anjunabeats as a marketing intern, she soon became a central figure on the label’s roster. Since then, Creamfields, Tomorrowland, Ministry of Sound, Phonox, and Amnesia, are only a few of the gigs Amy’s come to play.
Amy’s Newest EP
Following on from an increasingly signature flavour, Amy’s EP is fully tinted with Classic Trance. It’s a take that’s unique to her sound and greatly bridges the gap between the golden era of Trance and the current years. Her sound is fast-paced and groovy, but puts emotion and melody at the centre of the picture. Pads, pianos, plucks, and ethereal beds are all part of what makes Amy’s tracks so recognisable.
The title ‘I Never Want This To End’ comes from a place of gratitude and emotion. Even though this industry can be tough – the travel, the pressure, the constant pace – I can’t imagine doing anything else. As long as I’m creating music, playing shows, and connecting with people through sound, I’m happy. This EP is a reminder of that feeling.

You’ve heard these tracks before (no pun intended), but the full release is out now in a beautiful package that solidly captures Amy’s uplifting sound. Take it from me, these tracks are incredible, and they get really close to those 138 bangers we love and hold close to us from 20 years ago. In a recent DJ set of mine, I spun ‘Balearic September’, my favourite track from the EP, right after a Kyau & Albert tune from 2001, and it all fit like a glove. It’s incredible.
