Oliver Heldens revisits one of dance music’s most enduring classics with his rework of ‘Lady (Hear Me Tonight)’, out November 21 on Heldeep Records

Originally released in 2000 by the French house duo Modjo, ‘Lady (Hear Me Tonight)‘ became a defining track of its era, blending house, funk, and pop in a way that transcended genres and generations. Now, more than two decades later, Heldens breathes new life into the classic, staying true to its unmistakable groove while elevating it with his signature precision and modern production touch.

Heldens’ rework has already received strong live support from Calvin Harris and Carl Cox, both of whom have featured it in their recent sets – a testament to the track’s crossover appeal across the dance music spectrum. The reimagining captures the warmth and nostalgia of the original while recharging it for today’s global dancefloors.

The release arrives during a landmark year for Heldens, who recently celebrated 10 Years of Heldeep Records with a sold-out Amsterdam Dance Event showcase alongside Tchami, Don Diablo, Chocolate Puma, and Lee Foss. With “Lady (Hear Me Tonight)”, he continues to bridge eras and sounds, reaffirming his reputation as one of electronic music’s most innovative and enduring talents.

Oliver Heldens – ‘Lady (Hear Me Tonight)’ is available November 21 on Heldeep Records.
